Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home has been serving Madison Heights and the surrounding communities in southeast Michigan since 1961.  With a combined 80 plus years of staff experience in conducting funeral services, our staff has the expertise to perform any type and/or denomination of funeral service.

At our present location since 1991, our 12,000 square foot facility was designed to serve a multitude of diverse services, to meet the needs of local families.  Prior to 1991, Edward Swanson and Son operated from two other locations, both in Madison Heights.  Our first location was at 12 Mile Road and Dequindre Road, and then later at John R, north of 13 Mile Road.

As part of our complete offering we can handle the shipment of human remains throughout the world and can receive remains from other countries as well.
